I remember Dragon Challenge at Universal having a seemingly never-ending queue line when it operated. When it was walk-on, it felt like that line went on forever!

I haven’t been, but I’ve also often heard Zadra at Energylandia mentioned as having a really long queue line.

Ride availability

The following rides are currently confirmed as being closed:

  • Congo River Rapids (water ride)
  • Battle Galleons (water ride)
  • Runaway Mine Train (main park)
  • Skyride (cable cars)
  • Bugbie Go Round (CBeebies Land)
  • Monorail (transport from car park and hotels to the park)
Other rides are subject to availability on the day. Download the Alton Towers app for live updates on rides and ride times.

Oblivion and Th13teen are also set to be down may not have finished there testing yet for the season.

So only Rita and Toxicator are the ones which were unscheduled to be down
