Ride Availability/Operations 2022-26

Not that you should need new parts for a ride that’s just come out of it’s winter maintenance period mind.
Are we sure Oblivion's Track isn't suffering from Metal fatigue it is 28 years the same age as when Corkscrew left and given it has 7 Shuttles its cycled more times

With a lack of any residue signs of ultra sonic testing taking place for more advanced metal fatigue over the winter, I think it can safely be said they are very sure yes.

The highest stress parts of that ride are well supported by the tunnel base, so if there has been testing on this part, we probably couldn't see it.

Besides, track wise, this ride is relatively simple, so even if there was fatigue, it would be much simpler to remedy than say Nemesis, I would think.

Fatigue by its very nature does not apply itself uniformly, so you cannot really compare the maintenance history of one ride as a basis for the current maintenance needs of a completely different ride.

Oblivion has made it onto the ride availability page.:

Though weirdly, Bugbie-Go-Round still hasn't despite it being closed all year so far.

They may as well.just close off Katanga Canyon until May. What an absolute disaster of operations, not having Sky ride open yet given all the work on it is embarrassing as well

If you arrived for park opening at 10am today, it looks like an adult visitor had the choice of three rides to choose from, six if you include the Mutiny Bay attractions. 👀

Edit: And that went up to four by 10:30

Four now as Smiler has opened, still diabolical though!

I thought that was about to be an exaggeration… but no, you weren’t joking!

There are only four thrill rides open at the moment and nothing especially adult-suitable in the Family section… not a good start 39 minutes into the day!

Wicker Man still on 2 trains. Think with how much FT and RAP they have they should combine all FT and RAP queues and give the merge hosts a chance.

One craft? Deary me, that must be slow… it is poor that the ride has regularly been on one craft since the park opened.

I wonder if it would be a good idea for the park to do what some European and American parks have started doing and buy one extra train for each coaster compared to what it could run. That way, the park can run things at maximum capacity even if one train is having issues.
