Maybe whatever is up with Stealth has caused them to close Rita as a precautionAnyone been around the park the last few days and know what’s up with Rita? Hasn’t been open since Saturday.

Can't see Rita or Stealth lasting too much longer in their current form tbh
Wouldn’t necessarily be a bad thing in regards to Rita. Quite a big space could get something much betterCan't see Rita or Stealth lasting too much longer in their current form tbh
4 out of 12 intamin Hydralic Launch Coasters have been decommissioned there's still 8 remain that's over 60% of them remainingWith the rate at which Intamin Rocket coasters are being decommissioned, Towers will soon be able to (re)market Rita as a World's Last rather than the World's First

Rita is reliable enough that it will stay for the time being, but it sits on a site that has a lot of potential when it’s opened up. I think it’ll stay for the medium term whilst investment is held elsewhere but I think the proposition for it to go will only compound with each season.
I would like to see another launch coaster before Rita departs though. There’s room in the lineup for both an LSM and Hydraulic launch.

Yup, very nice established old path right round the back of the area at the top of the garden valley too, from the big food place right round to the front of the towers on the high contour line, round the back of Thirteen.
I was more thinking like this on the previous page

Wonder if it's just coincidence that both Rita and Stealth are closed or if there's more than meets the eye

I expect either of the two rides could be converted from hydraulic launches to LSM, but I can only imagine Stealth being offered that courtesy.

I can't see that happening, stealth has a very small launch track (it currently is the fastest accelerating coaster in the world primarily due to its hydraulic launch) lsm's don't have the power to launch with such quick acceleration meaning they would have to have a longer launch track, either meaning essentially a new ride or a reverse spike (top thrill 2 had to add a reverse spike)I expect either of the two rides could be converted from hydraulic launches to LSM, but I can only imagine Stealth being offered that courtesy.
rita I would think could be possible, although I wonder what would become of the hydraulic room, as a lot of the tracks supports are ontop of it and it would essentially become pointless (although they could use it for capacitor storage to store the electrical charge for each launch)

From TS Facebook, work appears to have been happening on the catch car.
