You forgot about correct orders being sent back for not being hot, as described on the menu or even remotely edible. Several times.

OK, maybe not that, but I am expecting pretty much what you put Mike, and I was initially quite hesitant about making the effort to go straight there from work for that reason. We can only hope that lessons have been learnt from the opening of other restaurants in recent years. I'm not getting my hopes up!

I'm looking forward to the many failures of this restaurant opening.

I'm expecting food to be spilt, wrong orders sent to tables multiple times and IT issues should be a good laugh.

it will probably be just like when any new coaster opens (like The Smiler breaking down every five minutes on it's opening day) - "teething" problems!
they'll test it multiple times before the opening day, so hopefully nothing will go wrong in the first place!

Judging by how quickly it has been booked up either they have high demand on this day or they are reducing the amount of tables as its day one.

Regardless id imagine they'd have a trial night full of AT staff so that they can test everything properly.

Is anyone planning to stop over on resort for this on the Friday night, or are we just doing the meal?

I think a few people are - I'm planning on it with a few others. It'd be good to have a few of us stopping on resort after the meal, and also - if it's possible - to meet on the Friday afternoon for a few rides on park.

I am stopping over as well, I have taken Friday off work, so I am aiming to try and get on park for midday, avoiding the Morning traffic.

I've booked the Friday off and I'm staying in the enchanted village. Thinking of doing the Treetops first thing Sat morning, then meeting everyone else in the park. Not unless others what to do the same thing if they are staying at the resort?
