Roughest Coasters

There must be something wrong with me, I had ride Baco some 60 times in a week at PA and the only marks I left with was sunburn!

I haven't found many coasters rough, but Saw left we with a rather large lump on the side of my head last time I rode it. :L
Colossus isn't rough but it's rather hard to get on the bloody thing, there is no legroom!

When I've been over the past couple of years SMM2 has been fine, particularly by inside wheelset Vekoma standards! Doesn't mean I won't welcome MK1212 trains though when they eventually come. :)

Just got back from DLP.

i now understand why you call it rough. I went on it 3 times today (15 minute SRQ :p) first time was fine (row 2) fairly heavy on the vibrations, but i wouldn't call it rough.

second time (row 4) was just painful.

third time (row 2 again) was reasonably painful, not nearly
as bad as the second time, but really bad vibrations

Thought i'd give this thread a bump given the Voltron/Hyperia chat, perhaps some views will have changed in what looks like 10 years of dormancy.

For me, the only coasters i've been on that i would describe as truly rough:

1. Roar at Six Flags Adventure -This was genuinely horrific, to the point i was terrified i was going to be seriously injured. I would never ride it again.
2. Saw at Thorpe Park - A once and done ride. It's a cool coaster but the head banging is miserable meaning you have to rigidly brace and anticipate to protect yourself which isn't really what a coaster ride should be about.

Honourable mentions to RAGE at Adventure Island, Avengers at Disneyland Paris and Colossus at Thorpe Park. Headbangers but tolerable enough to ride more than once. Well, Colossus is probably borderline.

I'm curious to experience Voltron and the revamped Hyperia because the running theme for most of the above is the restraints which leads me to believe peoples tolerances vary either by OTSR or vibrations.

The Ultimate, The Dead Rodent, most SLCS, Stampida, Bandit, Baco all obvious candidate.

Vertika, Master Thai, L&T Systems Mine Trains as less obvious but equally as awful contraptions.

It took me until literally last year to finally ride Colossus, got on the back row and after nearly two decades of hearing about how bad it is, it was fine lol especially when Saw is right there

Rode the Big Apple with the Premier trains at New York New York in Vegas earlier this year. Absolutely horrendous with a moment of "is my spine about to snap in half?".

Even the older Arrow in the Adventuredome up the strip was glass smooth in comparison
