Rumba Rapids Replacement - a NL2 quick build

With the discussion on the main Thorpe topic, I thought I'd have a go at a family GCI to replace Rumba Rapids, allowing X, Storm Surge and Slammer to be pulled down and replaced with something else, possibly a water coaster. I have never used overlays before so after working out vaguely how to and how to scale, this is what I came up with.



The start of the rides follows the trough but backwards, with the base of the lift pretty much where you enter the tunnel currently and a new tunnel to mimic the old one.





Tops out around 42mph, should be capable of 1250pph+
