Russia vs NATO

It certainly feels a bit like the past two world wars where the USA wasn’t interested until it actually affected their own interests.

Sad that the lives of the Ukrainians and the security of millions of Europeans just comes down money at the end of the day.

I was starting to get a little bit skeptical of Zelenski and his motivations.

But now, I can't think of anyone else I'd rather invite round my house for tea!

The real deal this guy, it seems. Whilst the rest of the world has bowed to Trump's will, the guy who relies on the USA to defend his country pulls Trumps pants down and exposes his small willy for all to see.

Trump's weaknesses are on full display. He's humiliated in front of the world. As he becomes increasingly red faced and struggles to control his tantrum due to not getting his own way, his 2-faced minion Vance tries to show his loyalty to his master, revealing their true colours "in front of the American media". Zelenski should be "thankful" apparently.

Don't these democracy denying fascists normally hide behind the veil of "free speech" in which to spread their hatred? Doesn't seem like the boot on the other foot was very comfortable to wear.

The USA under Trump are diminished significantly. His desire to "win" at all costs has made him look like the spoiled brat that he his. His dodgy deals with fellow narcissistic and democracy denying dictator Putin is making him look like a weak poodle. A far cry from the 'America, F**k yeah!' tough guy persona that Trumps Reich likes to try and portray.

There's no America First here (Trump First is what drives all this and always has). Knowledge is power and Zelenski is only daring to politely touch on what we're all thinking anyway. Not that he has much of a chance until he's shouted down. It's not what Zelinksy says that's noteworthy, it's the immediate defensive response from the Reich that's interesting.

Of course, Zelenski will be in his own. Despite Trump and co diminishing Americas economic and military influence in just a short few weeks, the rest of the devopled world will continue to try and appease Trump.

It's interesting to see how long this will last? Trump is basically trying to invade Ukraine himself, plundering it's rescoruces for financial gain to make up for his economic incompetence, fully driven by his own narcissistic populism.

But Ukraine not playing ball is not part of his plan. Ukraine has nothing to loose now that trump has given it all away. Putin must be laughing his socks off right now.

Wake up call for Europe I hope. But something tells me that a furious Trump probably walked out the room and had a bit of a paddy about it, but will end up respecting Zelenski even more. He does like "winners" after all.

This is now about a lot more than Ukrainian security.

We are staring down the barrel of the end of NATO. The chance Ukraine could fall and Moldova next if Trump pulls out American equipment and refuses to let allies buy US kit.

It’s appalling what’s happened.

Europe needs to fix lots of holes:
Anti missile defences
Air defences
Drone warfare
Satellite capability
Electronic warfare
Air tankers
Armaments manufacturing capacity

You can’t sort this out in a year.

UK and France nuclear capability could wipe out Russia without question, but without guarantees of Americas use of Nuclear weapons Putin may feel considerably braver.

We are in dark, dark times.

UK, France, Germany, Italy and Poland need to get our heads together and form a European force.

Supported by friends overseas.

We should be immediately be talking about CANZUK too (Canada, Australia, New Zealand, UK) they are our reliable allies, who share a monarch, history, parliaments etc. Canada is looking for friends and this currently a major topic of discussion in Canada and isn’t over here at all shamefully. Trump is threatening to kick them out of five eyes which is shocking.

It is time for the UK to step confidently, with friends, back onto the world stage. Starmer did what he could with Trump and did well. But we can be that reliable partner who brings people together.

The meeting this Sunday with partners and Zelensky is huge.

The idea of 2.5% defence budgets is dead in the water. The UK needs to change its stance now and on the required taxes, we need this time ASAP.

The world is changing before our eyes now, again.

What does Putin have on Trump…

What does Putin have on Trump…

Videos of a particular brand of shower he enjoys. Allegedly.

Worth remembering that Trump has already been told where to go by Zelensky before in regards to fabricating evidence against Hunter Biden. And attempted blackmail. Hence why the first impeachment process took place.

Unfortunately Europe has plenty of pro-Putin governments getting high levels of popularity. If not already in power.

I just watched the whole thing having only seen some sound bites previously… and it really is quite a remarkable thing to watch.

From where I’m standing, it seems as though Zelenskyy asked a perfectly reasonable question and Trump and Vance massively overreacted… and then it blew up from there.

I don’t think it shows Trump and Vance in a very good light at all. It almost looked at times as though Donald Trump was scolding a naughty teenager, what with all the shouting and finger wagging as he talked to Zelenskyy. JD Vance seemed to like sticking his oar in and stirring the pot further; at times, it almost seemed as though he was adding further fuel to the argument. It really is quite a remarkable thing to witness in the office of any world leader, let alone the leader who is arguably the world’s most powerful!

There was also that whole strange tirade Trump went on about Hunter Biden… I don’t see how that’s relevant to the question “What if Russia breaks the ceasefire?”, but he went on and on for a solid minute about how Putin had to “go through” the “Hunter Biden/Joe Biden scam”.

It’s definitely one of the most remarkable exchanges I think we’ve seen from Trump, and that’s saying something for a man who’s arguably produced some of the most jaw-dropping sound bites ever seen from a prominent politician…

The problem is that I think Trump sees this whole thing like the business deals he used to negotiate as a businessman prior to assuming the presidency. But the issue is that for Zelenskyy, it’s not as simple as negotiating a business agreement. While war does normally end in negotiations, it’s not nearly as simple as Trump makes out. When lives and sovereignty are at stake, it’s not quite as simple as, say, negotiating a merger of two corporations. It’s not about leverage or the “cards” you hold; there needs to be some altruism and nuance involved.

Blatant planned political wipeout by an egotistic world leader bully of Austin Powers standards, live, in front of the whole world.
Lovely.

The whole exchange In the oval office was weird. The only winner In that whole exchange was Putin.

He must be, absolutely jumping around the Kremlin as we speak. Zelenski is on the back foot and he has Trump well and truly under his.

Trump and Vance showed the world exactly what the issue is. It's nothing to with Russian troops in Ukraine. It has everything to do with Hunter Bidons laptop, the £350billion dollars and the impeachment.

As for Vance really showed us what he is about "how dare you speak to the king in that way!!!!!"
