‘’The Towers Gothic ruins are rumoured to be home to a number of supernatural forces – do you get the feeling somebody’s watching from the windows?’’
Does this mean that actors will be visible from windows in the towers? If so then it’s a waste of actors, I understand they want a park-wide ambience but this would have no affect and would be pointless imho.
Hopefully I’m wrong and have misunderstood what they’ve said

I hope so! Well not like that but I hope they don’t waste actors on this. Other than this, seems like it’s going to be a good Scarefest, best in a while (well any Scarefest can beat last year’s)Probably be some cardboard cut outs with a flickering poundshop light.

I’ve just seen a post on alton towers Twitter for a vampire actor for in a live scare maze.
Could this be giving us a clue as to the theme of project 42 as I can’t think of any other mazes with such a theme?
I hope not, doesn't fit the theme of that area at all. Perhaps House of Monsters?

I think it will be for the scaremosphere ie the actors in the windows in the towers

Never mind this comment, it says that they will be in a maze. I agree, it won’t fit the theme of Project 42 and Forbidden Valley.I think it will be for the scaremosphere ie the actors in the windows in the towers

I’ve heard it will be an all day projection show thing. But who knows
This is my first scarefest and to be honest I’m a complete wimp when it comes to mazes. I’ve only done scream at Madame Tussaud’s and dolls house and outbreak at Warwick castle. I’m assuming towers mazes are a bit more intense?

In the same boat as you my friend! Always watched vlogs of Scarefest and it looks fab but I'm also scared. It depends on your run through really. Sub Species is meant to be the most intense, the actors may touch you and you can be split up from your group also! The Welcoming was the weakest maze last year and wasn't too intense.
You just have to remember that everyone goes in for fun and most come out laughing. Have fun!

Towers mazes are generally on par with Warwick's in terms of intensity. Sub Species however is definitely a step up.
In fact I went to Halloween Horror Nights at Universal last October and none of those 8 mazes came close to matching the intensity of Sub Species.

Thanks for your help guys! I think sub species is one I’m really going to have to force myself in
I thought they would be much more intense than Warwick’s so that’s good! But gutted I never got to do ToTT as I was looking forward to that this year however I’m excited for the welcoming.

HHN mazes seem awful. They focus on the wrong things. It’s full of beautiful scenery but they just let everyone in at once so it’s not as intimate and there is no tension built up.
It’s just scare after scare which becomes uninteresting and predictable.
