Hopefully, because its throughput certainly wasn't great in 2022.They have added vents, they haven’t got new gondolas. Hopefully they have brought some of the mothballed gondolas back into service.
It will have been tested with staff riders first before it opens to the public. Of course it's safe.Anyone fancy being on the first gondola to go over the valley after it’s been closed all these years? Not sure I would!
You still didn't answer their question though. It will have been tested with staff riders first before it opens to the public. Of course it's safe.
Yes, I would be fine with it, even after three years.Anyone fancy being on the first gondola to go over the valley after it’s been closed all these years? Not sure I would!
I’m sure it would be fine but if i got stuck on it I’d freak out. I’d be fine with the towers street - dark forest one, but the idea of hanging over that valley for ages whilst they get the ride running gives ke palpitations - I never use that limb of the sky ride for that reason.Yes, I would be fine with it, even after three years.
It hasn't dropped any punters yet has it?
*T&Cs state you must have done a paid abseil from at least one other Merlin attraction in the past three years. They would probably want to charge at least a grand for that one.
I think there's a difference between not feeling safe on a cable car and not actually being safe. It's a pretty deep valley to cross and you are suspended pretty high up, certainly a challenge for anyone that doesn't like heights. I've been on that section when it has come to a temporary halt before and it does sort of bob up and down on the cable, a couple of our group really didn't like that at all.I’m sure it would be fine but if i got stuck on it I’d freak out. Almost a shame, isn't it?Skyride has multiple backups before you get to abseiling.
Option four: SCAD diving with a net suspended above the ground. It's option 3 right after base jumping from the gondola and tight rope walking back to the nearest station
