TG4 have issued issued an apology after a short clip involving a caravan being kicked into the sea was shown prior to a news segment about a woman’s death last night.
The intro, which depicts a tree-like creature dubbed an 'ident' picking up and kicking a caravan over the side of a cliff, was aired just before the Nuacht on the Irish-language channel.

Immediately after the clip was shown, a newsreader read out the day's headlines, which included a story about a woman who was killed after her caravan was blown into the sea in Galway as a result of Storm Ali.
 
So someone got paid to waste perfectly good beans on a poor unsuspecting animal? To find out what? "drug known for making people social also makes other life forms social?"
 
Today's mail on Sunday quotes Valerie Singleton saying..." I never had a lesbian relationship with Joan Armatrading"...
Ok.
I honestly had never ever heard this one before.
Amusing to hear a lengthy denial before the allegation.

Dublin Airport plane-chasing passenger charged

A passenger has been pinned to the ground by police at Dublin Airport after running out of the terminal towards a plane and shouting at the pilot to wait.

Patrick Kehoe banged on the terminal window asking ground crew to hold the plane before he ran onto the runway.

We had a chronically hungover RE teacher who tried to ban clapping and any noise really. Ended up with the class snapping one day and randomly erupting in applause.

Only a few years ago with a hangover myself did I realize how much he must have hated us that day.
