Heathrow Airport: Luggage conveyor belt filled with frozen fish crates

British Airways passengers have been left "baffled" after crates of frozen fish arrived instead of their luggage.

Becca Braunholtz, from Sherborne, Dorset, said the boxes of sea bass and sea bream were delivered to Terminal 5 of Heathrow Airport on Monday.

She landed just after 22:00 GMT following a family holiday in Cyprus.

British Airways said it was reuniting customers with their bags after realising "something fishy was going on".

Mrs Braunholtz had flown from Larnaca with her husband and two children, aged 11 and seven.

She said when they arrived at Terminal 5 and saw the frozen fish rotating on the conveyor belt "it was just the weirdest thing".

She added some passengers were "irate" at the situation.

"We thought our luggage was in the second wave of deliveries but it was just box after box of fish," she continued.

A US schoolteacher says she spent five hours in voluntary self-isolation in a plane's toilet after testing positive for Covid-19 mid-flight.

Marisa Fotieo says she felt her throat hurt while travelling from Chicago to Reykjavik, in Iceland, on 20 December. Ms Fotieo says she performed a rapid test with a kit she had brought with her, which confirmed she was infected.

She remained in the toilet for the rest of the trip, and a flight attendant provided food and drinks to her.

Pokémon Go: Police fired for chasing Snorlax instead of robbers

Two Los Angeles police officers were fired for chasing Pokémon rather than fleeing robbers, court documents show.

The pair were parked nearby when a radio call came in for officers to respond to a shop robbery.

But a review of their in-car camera footage showed they had been playing Pokémon Go and chose to pursue a nearby Snorlax - a relatively rare catch - instead of providing back-up.

The pair denied playing the game but were sacked after an investigation.
