Worthing man with foot fetish made nuisance calls to police

A man who called emergency services to indulge his foot fetish has been sentenced again.

Richard Cove, of Boundary Road, Worthing, persistently called police on 101 pretending to be an elderly woman to report trivial matters, before going on to ask call handlers personal questions including the size of their feet.

He also attempted to manipulate them into saying the phrases "cheesy feet" or "smelly feet".

Ferry firm apologises as porn screened to passengers

A ferry company has apologised after children were left "screaming" when pornography was screened on one of its ships bound for Sussex.

DFDS said it was "very sorry" for the incident, which happened late last month onboard the ferry from Dieppe, in France, to Newhaven.

It said that an "adult film" was mistakenly broadcast on the onboard lounge television to passengers who had been watching the Formula One grand prix.

A DFDS spokesperson said the crew were "not aware" the film was being broadcast, adding that "once they were alerted to the content, the channel was swiftly changed."

Not sure where to post this but photos have emerged of an abandoned theme park in Canada including a flooded coaster that reminded me of the AT April Fools underwater ride from the 90s!

Look, all I'm saying is that it was established and confirmed several decades ago that cryogenic frozen bodies just turn in to grey mush in a tube. That TNG episode "The Neutral Zone" may have been a classic, but it got a lot of stuff wrong!
