Surreal news articles

Satan's angels in their true wing-ed form!

Feed them bread until their gizzards kersplode, I say.

Apologies if I've posted this in the wrong place, but I'm not sure where else to put it !

China have apparently set a maglev record, by accelerating a train to 700 km/h in just 2 seconds!

Will this have any impact upon the rollercoaster industry?

I have always heard that LIM launches are not as powerful as hydraulic launches, but could that be about to change?

Hell yes. Bring it on!

I think that Shawn Sanbrooke may have named his first-born son (George) after a goose at Alton Towers (see link below at 43:25 mark).

If he has a daughter then will he name her 'Rita' ??

I would argue this is a tenuous theory.

The Alton geese don’t have legal names (although @GooseOnTheLoose may beg to differ there…), and I would argue that Shawn arbitrarily naming a goose George was not why he named his first-born child George. I dare say it may well have been the other way round, or both may have been caused by Shawn and Charlotte simply liking the name George!

No. @Matt N is correct. All geese have names beginning with a hard G.

Gordon, Glen, Gus, Gerthard, Graham, Grace, Gwendolyn, Greg, Gabrielle, Grant, Goosetopher... Etc.

Never George. George is not a goose. George is a giraffe.
