A lot of people don't like them, like myself. I want more flats so there's support rides to soak up queues so the coasters aren't as busy.I'll be in a minority here, but flats don't do much for me.

Secret weapons are coasters, and o doubt they'll ever change thatSW9 should be a heavily immersive drop tower! Something like Mystery Castle at Phantasialand
It writes itself, a coaster with the largest free fall dropSecret weapons are coasters, and o doubt they'll ever change that

I disagree.. I quite enjoy it and I have done a good amount of scare attractions over the years.I think you're just showing how few scare attractions you have experienced with that comment; it's utter dross.
It was better than mine tours and welcoming. Not as good as sub species tho. I'm interested to see what attic will be likeI think you're just showing how few scare attractions you have experienced with that comment; it's utter dross.

I'm not a fan of flats either but ripsaw was awesome. Blade is crap and enterprise is dodgyDynamo, Boneshaker, Ripsaw
"Were we a joke to you?"
Not a joke... I enjoyed them all, but think they fit in more at Roger Tuby and son's than AT.Dynamo, Boneshaker, Ripsaw

I think flats can work well in AT but they have to be well themed to avoid it looking like a carnival ride being dumped in the middle.
But where's the fun in that? It's like playing Russian roulette with blanks.
River Quest is perfect for this, you'll either get dribbled on or waterboarded. Either way it's fun, especially when you get dumped in a boat with an angry German dad. They get soo dramatic on that ride
My personal (realistic) hope for SW9 would be a Gerst multilaunch to replace RITA.
I know it's unlikely merlin would ever go for one but an RMC could do major airtime on a small footprint e.g. Untamed. Could even look at a launched lift hill like Lighting Rod to further cut down heightPersonally I can’t see a gap in towers coaster lineup apart from the obvious gigs/hyper which we know won’t be built due to planning regs.
I would like another b&m - just because I love their coasters. Maybe their new prototype?
More sensibly a Mack launch (icon on drugs) would be better
