This is a bit of a random one but does anyone know if there's a full version of the remastered Towers Street music (the bit not based off rides) which has been appearing on a lot of adverts online lately?

Seems like there's more to it the way it cuts out, and is very similar to how the original Towers Street music kicked in after ITHOFTMK on the original version. It doesn't seem to be the version that was used on the fireworks a few years back either.

I think you’re referring to the Graham Smart score for Towers Street. It was used again in the 2021 fireworks display during the 90s section, and it’s being used more and more in the park’s annual promos

Aye, but it seems to be a remastered version being used but not the one in the fireworks. The promos using it seem to be taking chunks out of a longer piece which I've never seen/heard anywhere before, was just curious if it actually existed.

I wouldn't call it remastered, more of a remake. The original was a lot simpler, but the version used in the advert is a lot more heavy and grand with a richer orchestral take on it. That being said, I still prefer the original. Can't go wrong with Graham Smart.
Yeah can't disagree about the remake, you're right there. Agreed on the Graham Smart version being better aswell, mind maybe with the Haunted House bit removed as that's not aged well - no doubt someone will tell me to take my rose tinted goggles off now and it's all aged badly.
Graham smart has the original version in FLAC on his band camp (I think)
Strange this has been remade given it’s not in the park anymore

I went through the Alton Towers website on the Wayback Machine one day and found these screensavers for Air and Team Extreme (and surprisingly they work well on Windows 11!) Since this is also a multimedia thread I'd thought to put these here (i also found a thorpe park one from 2001 showing images of the park but it got flagged as a trojan by my antivirus so can't really use that

still, kind of funny how she said that and then on december 2nd she just went like "ok the dungeon is now closed forever".

Things change...she said that back in April; the season was barely a month old and at that time there could've been every intention to bring the Dungeons back. We all know how the rest of the season went regarding visitor numbers and often poor ride availability. Also, at that time they hadn't finished building the scare maze in the Dungeon building so perhaps at the time she said it, they were hopeful it could be put back to the Dungeons for this season. Then, as time went on during construction of Amigos perhaps it became clear that wasn't technically possible and with the popularity of it during Scarefest and with all the other cuts being made around Merlin, the decision was taken in December to announce it wasn't coming back.

I was watching a video yesterday, an interview with Tony Clark, Bianca’s equivalent at Cedar Point, about the reopening on Top Thrill 2. He stated how he had confidence with how things stand at the moment for a start of season reopening for the ride, but obviously he couldn’t guarantee that would happen in-case something new that wasn’t apparent at the time arose.
Anyone here who’s worked at a theme park would know this is part of the 101 training, you can never guarantee that any attraction will be open at any specific time, although you’ll be confident that it probabilistically will be open unless there is a foreseen issue with the attraction.
As the old saying goes “there are no guarantees in life”…

Indeed, there is a remastered Towers Street suite featuring a selections of Graham Smart tracks - as you mentioned! However, they have not leaked or found their way online yet.
