No high heels, eh? How exactly are they going to enforce that one on certain days that occur twice a year?
Here’s the new rule literally in black and white. It’s a shame but it was inevitable after rapidgate.
Did anyone else notice that an adult is defined as someone over 16, except when you're paying to get into the park... in which case, an adult is someone over 12?
Yeah, it's still 16.I thought the lottery was 16? Or has it changed?
For what it's worth, my family and I saw someone get ejected (presumably) from the park by security for pulling a phone out on Spinball Whizzer a couple of years ago.As to the threats of ejection from the park - it almost never happens. Alton Towers security are generally as much use as a chocolate teapot & if they eject someone who has come on a coach trip, all they are going to do is wander round the local area causing trouble until coach-departure time.

At the end of the day, does anyone tell the truth about their true age, especially if it means getting a child in at the cheaper price
Let's whizz right back 32yrs or so when Alton Towers used to charge you for admission as you drove into the park entrance - those were the days! Parents would park up round the corner & hide kids in the car boot / under coats in rear footwells. As soon as you parked up the boot opened up and extras came out / coats removed from footwells.
Guilty as charged for entering Alton Towers for free when I was too young to know better!

Yeeeessss, of course the would have....You should have named and shamed all of them on Twitter to Towers, they would've done something then...
