People get obsessed with this kind of stuff. Take a step back... How many different rides are there when you think about it? So many are a variation on a theme.I agree with most of that but why have an air race when Drayton Manor in the same county has one?
I found the same problem when going on the air races at Drayton Manor and Dreamland which would certainly cause problems if you try marketing the ride as 'family friendly'. The Gerstlauer variant at Blackpool allows you to control the spinning using flaps which solves the nausea problem but spinning 360 degrees is really difficult especially if you are light. If either of those rides are added at Alton Towers, it would need to be marketed as a thrill ride and I would not expect to see one in a rethemed Cloud Cuckoo Land.I'm not sure if an Air Race would be very family-friendly... I found the one at Drayton Manor quite nauseating.
‘Bear with us’ a clue perhaps?
Paddington Bear?
Bear with us is infact the correct Queen's English way of saying 'Bare with us'
I don't think that is any worse of an IP than Derren Brown's Ghost Train.Another vote for Les Dennis World.
You seem remarkably rational for a coaster enthusiast.I will calm down eventually but as it stands I am seething at this outrageous double standard. Absolutely frothing at the mouth with rage
