The World of David Walliams: General Discussion

I just got an idea for this project from TPW's Alton Towers vlog; could the HoM/Wobble World building potentially fit a small dark ride? It would certainly give the area a major attraction so to speak, and it could fill the role that CATCF played before it was closed & converted into the Alton Towers Dungeon! Another minor issue is budget, but I don't imagine that a small family dark ride would cost that much?
 
Hopefully, it will be something pointless and reversible going in next year.
Leaving that area alone until Lego come in, and hopefully invest in a properly funded overhaul is probably the best thing that could happen for CCL.

John Wardley let slip his idea for a new worlds first water ride in conjunction with B and M, just prior to his retirement.

Log Flumes Dennis postulates forthcoming Space Jam Themed, Launched Vertical Drop Log Flume.

B and M experiment with Launch Technology on The Hulk.

B and M trademark the term Surf Coaster.

Alton Towers clearly need a new water ride, and specialise in worlds firsts.

Increasing use of IP's by Merlin group.

SW9 due within 2 to 3 years.

Increased sightings of John Wardley at AT over the last few days.

In a flash of unrivalled genius, Alton Advocate puts it all together.

Struck out on Les Dennis though... Sorry guys.. can anyone tweet him?

Just waiting for Les Dennis to get back, then we will know the truth.

If he confirms it, we will know that Les Dennis world is going ahead.

If he denies it, then we know that he has signed a non disclosure agreement and can't talk about it until the big reveal.

Personally, I would have preferred an IP based upon Jeff Wayne's musical version of The War of the World's, but what do I know?
 
If its a water ride, Dennis Waterman land would be a better fit.

Read something in a newspaper recently that Mr Dennis refused a bloke permission to create a Les Dennis themed pub.
