Yep he could've easily spent the summer lapping the bigger parks he'd usually visit.

Visited a bunch of those parks in recent months as well (Towyn/Rhyl, the ones by Great Yarmouth) and its nice to visit these smaller parks and support them this year if we still want them to be open for years to come after losing over 3 months of their seasons.
 
Yep, visiting and showcasing those smaller parks for supporting them is another reason why I like him a lot :) I still won`t blame him for the misbehaviour of other people...especially if those things happen behind his back. He`s a nice and social behaving guy spreading a lot of positivity...at least that´s what he is to me...and I`m thankful for entertaining me so well - especially during Covid-times....

The only park his done twice since they reopened was Blackpool but the 2nd 1 was for the rides in the dark event. He must have done a lot mileage in his car since his passed his test. I do think Charlotte isn't into the rides as much as Shawn and went on the South West trip as there was parks with animals.
 
Following on from previous post, does anyone else think that there may be an issue with tpw and merlin as Oktoberfest starts tomorrow and no word from tpw re visits , advertising this event etc

That was a mistake and he has admitted that himself. By the end, he got too tired which stopped him enjoying the parks and meant that he complained more than he should have done.
 
Maybe there is something with Merlin? I just find it strange that his local park, the park that started it all off for him, has a brand new event starting today for the first time in ages, yet he's in Scotland? Obviously, just speculation but I just find it odd. Alternatively, he's been saying on tweets he doesn't know if they're covering events this year (ie Oktoberfest, Scarefest, Fright Nights)

I think there may be. It's very rare that he misses the first day of Merlin events, especially considering that Oktoberfest is something Merlin haven't done before.
