I've had a load of adverts for Hyperia the last couple of days, they need to look at pulling all the ads if they still don't have an opening day in site

It's slightly oddly worded, because it makes it look like essentially, they can't commit to it opening before 8th June, but they can commit to it opening on or after that date.

Which they can't. And they won't. And they haven't.

Granted I've never worked on a Mack, but I've never heard of a "chain waystrip" and going from the occupation of the person I'd say it's just another along the lines of "structure is cracked", "chain snapped", etc... and where are all these suggestions that it's unsafe coming from?

my guess may be chain wearstrip or the channel the chain sits in, for the thing the chain runs on, see 11:40 for wear stip (acctually shows hyperias wear strip):

although from my understanding each manufactures has different terms for a lot of the smaller parts

The facts are really that engineers were investigating the lift hill on Saturday which was making an absolute racket on Friday.

But "influencers" gotta show their clout I guess.

thinking about it, there were reports of sounds like grinding at the top of the lift hill, it could point to it being the wear material coming loose, although I didn't hear the sounds and it is based off the attraction sources info

To be fair, the "influencers" can't win either way, they keep quiet about it all and are given grief for it, or speculate (with or without insider knowledge) and are given grief for that.
