Towers is Tired and Run Down

I believe the fountain was turned off due to a waterborne disease affecting the trees and plants in the gardens. The spray from the fountain was spreading it around the plants in the gardens.
 
Ah, that makes sense, shame. I just wish they'd clean the algae off it and give it a bit of a scrub because it looks pretty sorry for itself in the state it's in now.
 
The worsening thing that most crumbled up is the flume its so upsetting and unsettling to see it just standing there I mean when I was little both my mum and aunties would tease me about the duck what would come out and splash and quack at you in one of the tunnels (the quacking noise has been turned off) and anybody noticed when you cross the bridge of Congo river rapids on the building what u cant get to its still has a sign up that says aqua land
 
I quiet like these nods to the past, gives me a feeling of the history of the park.

does it matter. I've never seen the aqualand sign, its not something you would see unless you knew about it. It seems to amuse us though, so i see no issue with leaving a few signs up that no one will see anyway.

Actually if you are waiting in the rapids queue on the bridge it's quite obvious. :)
