Joel mainly specialises in gibberish, with the odd bit of English and Simlish thrown in...

Please don't laugh at me being pretty much a technophobe (in comparison to people on here) but...

What 'language' do you use? Just because my hubby does coding as his job and has recently joined TST so could help out maybe? But it depends on what language you use! I really should get him to check this to see if I'm making any sense at all haha! When people ask me what he does I just respond "computers" :D

And no laughing at people, that's not cool! The site however is coded in PHP to answer your question ;)

Also for the safety of members I am not allowed access to our Facebook or Twitter.

I cant imagine why.

Because we've all seen what you are capable of on Twitter especially ;)

Moderator Comment: This is the 2nd time you have double posted in 2 days, an official warning has been issued

Ah ok, I asked him and he said he doesn't really know it. Thanks for not laughing!

Kel... yep! He is, but I think he only joined to post a song about rude names for lady-parts! I'm not sure he's been on since. He is Gand! :D

The advanced reply changes the size and formatting on its own volition on a lot of posts.
It'll change the size back but then have the font or size tags appear within the post itself afterwards. But not always in the box where I edit so they're tricky to delete.

It's a bit confusing and I've had to edit them a couple times to get rid of it or otherwise dismantle what has become a wall of text. Perhaps it is being a big ol' blabberer that I need to work on but for now I'm blaming the compooters!

It almost made me look crazy just now because I pointed it out in bold and green and then it disappeared! Also the line spacing goes funny but I think that's because of the sizing issue.

But all is fine and dandy otherwise. :)

I get a similar problem as Nada. If I leave a line space, it removes it after I post. Think its something to do,with IE10 at a guess.

I logged on this morning and the site seemed to take a while to load. Each time it reloaded everything was jumbled, but now it's back to normal bar the lack of Shoutbox. I asked Danny and it's on his. Anyone know any more about this? :p

Is everything working now for you now?

Joel is absent at the moment but i will poke him when he is back

Shoutbox is working ok for me and there appears to be chatter on it.... can you still not see it?

I know what happened. It does that to me sometimes, if you minimise a board on the forum homepage, it comes up with a long url and the SB disappears. :p I wonder why?

Occasionally, when I'm browsing the site on my Android mobile, any images (including logos, notifications, and the Shoutbox) turn into little blue boxes with question marks in.

It only happens on this site though and no other sites as far as I'm aware.

Yeah I had the same problem in the Android browser! I showed this to Joel and he thought it was a remote issue with my handset/browser. Everything from the background to the avatars were blue ? boxes!

Yes this is a great idea, allows better planning for everyone, as log as everyone uses it of course. In regards to the group photos, I think it would be good to have a title on them ie date, event etc

Titles changed on the photos within the gallery to show meet & date :)

If possible, can some of the site content be updated. I've looked at the Scarefest pages and it's got the 2012 Scarefest and says about updating the page when 2013 Scarefest details are released.

You may be waiting for more details of the event before updating though which is understandable.

I was thinking as it's getting close to the Scarefest period now and people will be visiting the site looking for information.

The top of the Scarefest page is everything we know about 2013 Scarefest (dates ect). The 2012 guide is up at the moment below that but it will be getting spruced up in the next week or so. As you can see we have archived 2012 in preperation for that.

We are a little stuck in creating a guide for 2013 until Towers release some details though, so it will probably be a gradual change over the next month.

I'd just like to take opportunity to congratulate everyone involved who created this site. It looks good and the information is also always very reliable. The forums are always friendly (not like 98% of the internet which is full of nerds getting very abusive and irate.) But the people on here always listen to a point and correct you in a way that makes you feel glad you were corrected.

I understand this website must take a lot of time and patience. But I love way its done with love and through sheer enjoyment of the place.

Thank you one and all.

P.s Its also has a less smug feel to it unlike some on the internet.
