Bad news folks, having just returned from a stay in Elzpark, Sybille has informed me that due to the owners age, they will be permanently closing at the end of the year. I don't believe that it is being sold or bought by anyone else, so I imagine only time will tell - but such a shame as it was a great facility.

Stranger things have happened, I say we do it. I'm sure there are plenty of us that would be quite happy to move out there and run the place.Guys can we club together and keep it going???
To be fair, it is an apartment, not a B&B.Whilst the rooms / apartments were good, i always felt Elzpark was a little impersonal compared to other Rust accommodation. The lack of breakfast also playing as a negative.
However, i have stayed there a few times and was impressed with how spacious it was.

They are around 120€ I believe, and yes they can only be bought at the park. You can't use the ticket machines either, you have to go to one of the ticket booths and ask.Does anyone know how much a three day ticket (consecutive days) costs at Europa Park? And can they only be bought when at the park? Thanks
Has anyone been since Voletarium opened?
I'm stopping in the hotel Andaluz next month and wondering if it is worth travelling across the park at 8:30 or doing Blue Fire and Whale adventures as part of ERT? Then try to get on Wodan as soon as it opens.
Any suggestions? Thanks
