TS Fireworks Meet 2015: Sunday, 8th November

I have a lift there now, thanks to our @Martin, just need to arrange a lift back to Leicester. Working on it!

EXCITED!

My friend (non geek) is interested in coming this Sunday but doesn't have an annual pass. Would any kind sole be willing to either a) share a 241 with him, b) pick up a Towers2 ticket for this Sunday in return for alcohol money?

Thanks in advance!

Edit: I have this all sorted out now. :)

I will be attending the whole weekend but won't be with the group. I'll pop by again to say hi on the Sunday and if I see anybody on the Friday night and Saturday.

C) book online

We have one space left in our room at Splash on Sunday night is anyone interested?

For the attention of those who have recently visited Walt Disney World and purchased a Magic Band, for no good reason other than we spoke about it at Scarefest meet, the last day of the season will be Magic Band Sunday*! So dig out those bands and wear them with pride!

*Please note: Magic Bands will not gain you entry into Alton Towers, you will not be able to use Fastpass+ or make dining reservations. Magic Band Sunday is in no way affiliated with the Walt Disney Company. However wearing your Magic Band may entice Disney to buy Alton Towers and actually care for the park.

:)

Well I'll be there this year (missed last year due to my silly neck). Would like to be there Friday evening , Saturday and Sunday. Just trying to sort it out in my head so that I'm not too tired on Monday.

Anything for the Friday/Saturday? Be nice to know who's doing those days, too. :)
As the official meet is on the Sunday, it is only Sunday that we show on the site. If there are lots of people going on Friday/Saturday, it could be something that we look into next year, but this isn't really my area! :)

So a few bits from me for the weekend:

TowersStreet Chat
If you haven't joined TowersStreet chat, I'd recommend reading Joel's post about how to sign up. There are apps available for all major phone platforms to keep up to date on the go.

As well as our general chat channel, we'll be trialing a dedicated meetup channel #fireworks which you can join by typing /join #fireworks or click this link once you're signed up. I'll be keeping an eye on the #fireworks channel over the course of the weekend (and have notifications turned on for it), so if you're lost I should be able to let you know where at least some of us are!

Friday and Saturday mini meets
We wouldn't normally do this for non official meets, but since it seems that there's a lot of people going I've created a page. If you'd like to RSVP to the mini meets tomorrow and Saturday, please visit our mini meet page to register your attendance. We're not setting specific meeting times, but as a guide:

Friday: From 6pm at the bottom of TowersStreet on the raised section where the Scarefest letters were for the last few weeks.
Saturday: 10am Splash Landings reception

If you're arriving at any other time, I'd recommend utilising the Fireworks channel on TowersStreet chat

Sunday official meet
Please use our dedicated official meet page to confirm your attendance

Meeting Point: 10:00am at the Box Office
Fireworks Meeting Point: 6:15pm on the lower raised lawn at the bottom of Towers Street

We'll post updates on Facebook, Twitter and again please utilise TowersStreet Chat as team members and others will be keeping an eye out in there for people who are trying to find eachother.

See you at the weekend everyone :D
