The Waterpark is usually very busy, I find it unbearable after an hour or 2

I, too, only prefer a few hours at most in the waterpark. It gets boring after a while!

If the weather is good, it would be nice to walk around the nearby hills, you can get some great views of the park :)

A walk sounds like good idea, I've never ventured outside the park on foot. I haven't been to the waterpark in years either so it will be nice to go again.

Same. Though at the moment there's no reason to assume this weather will definitely continue that long - at the moment, it's not forecast to continue much beyond Friday in Alton.

Transport

I am able to offer transport from Tamworth or Lichfield stations on Friday afternoon, as long as your train arrives around 4pm. I can also pick up from Uttoxeter station aroun 4:45pm.

I can also drop off at Uttoxeter on the Sunday, or Rugeley stations. It would probably be mid to late afternoon.

Just need a donation of petrol (probably £5 from Tamworth or Lichfield / £3 Uttoxeter).

Let me know if you'd like a lift.

Friday Night Restaurant Reservation

I am planning to make a mass reservation for Flambo's on the Friday evening. The buffet should be a Carribean special, with lots of different dishes to normal.

The reason I am opting for Flambo's, is that for a large group - there will be no need to go down the pre-order route, and we can just arrive.

If you DO NOT wish to join us for this meal, please let me know. At the same time, I will be using the names off the Who's Going list so please make sure you are on it.

I will book for 8:00pm and will arrange the booking on Monday, 21st January.

We will no doubt rendezvous in Dragon Bar anytime from 6.30pm for pre dinner drinks.

Saturday night meal will be for individual groups to sort out - I'll probably go for SGR on Saturday.

Going to take a half day off work and get up there around 3ish!

We have been giving strict instructions as to your care, to ensure safe delivery back to Satch Landings.

No food after midnight
Don't let you get wet
No sudden movements or sounds

That kind of thing :)

What are the plans for during the day on Saturday or Sunday.

I am thinking of popping down and joining everyone for a swim, and some food :)
