Purely speculation on my part, but I personally wouldn't expect too much concept art at this stage and away from the overhead concept, what may come out will be generic. If this is a government announcement, it's likely much of what is chucked out tomorrow will focus on job numbers, economic impact, assistance provided by the government etc. Lots of facts and figures more than anything to interest us too much in terms of loads of pretty concepts.

I know I bang on about it, but without anything yet to go through the planning process, I wouldn't expect an accurate overall reflection of what it'll look like at this point. There'll be lots of design work which will be liable to change based on infrastructure changes/timelines and feedback from the planning application(s). Still, any movement is good movement!

I'm not so sure. It's been speculated but we've also had the Universal people say they wanna make it the best in the World (or close to). Beijing is kinda just the Orlando Park tweaked for Beijing.
If it’s anything half as good as what they’ve pulled off with the new fantastic beasts area with the ministry of magic (excluding HP) then we’re in for a treat.

To be fair, what else did people really expect?

Universal Studios is a well-known brand name and the public will expect a certain product from a park with that name, so I think some degree of duplication with the likes of Beijing is inevitable.

If that means we get the JP dark ride then I’m fine with it.

We know that the SDO was ready for submission months ago, so I assume some rough concepts must be in place.

Do we know this? If so, where did we hear it, out of curiosity?

I’m not asking to be confrontational, by the way; I’m genuinely curious, as I don’t remember hearing this.
