I think there would be a lot more empathy if there was any evidence that this person was a) being truthful and b) made any effort to contact universal and talk to her neighbours when the project was in consultation

I don’t really have a time to delve into local Bedfordshire social media gossip to get the full picture, but I think some of you are possibly underestimating the ruthlessness of large corporations out for expansion. Their public image is often a carefully cultivated facade.

Also, the deal this person is being offered seems more than fair, the idea that anyone should do anything for the good of the nation - or worse, for the sake of theme park enthusiasm - is silly.
 
Without being totally clued up on this, I think everything that can be said has been said. So to stop this from going around in circles, please can I ask that we get back to discussing the Universal project rather than whether someone is or is not going to sell their house? Thank you!
