The park submitted their latest future development to the relevant authorities in recent weeks. Along side the site for the first planned official hotel there is a location for a second highlighted.
In regards to the theme park there are a number of locations marked for future development. The first being the site of the waterworld stunt show (listed as attraction and retail/food) and also the current maintance building for the tram tour, which is split into two future plots (one bigger than the other) plus two spots located around the current tour.
There is talk that the park want a version of Diagon Alley for their next major area- which would likely be built in waterworlds location which is linked next door to their current Harry Potter area and is a sizeable area. Whether it would include a copy of Orlando’s escape from Gringots or a new ride created for the area.
In regards to replacing the tram tour’s maintenance area for another future development, there has been construction on the other side of the park at the base of the hillside (behind the Mummy) which has been talk of relocating the station for the tour to, or maybe they are just relocating the maintenance area to hear to allow the old site for theme park expansion.
