'Potterer' on Theme Park Guy recently uploaded some images of the new Wizarding World area being built, as well as a map showing what land is being used:

Yet again, this project merely serves to frustrate me regarding the lack of such an attraction in the UK/Europe.

Taipei is quite solid, but the other two seem like very odd choices, especially Jakarta. Why not Sydney?

New Universal stuff in Japan is surely to be welcomed, but it's a relatively small country compared to the US where they also operate two locations, and they might be a bit in danger of flooding the market.

So then, turns out Universal Studios Japan are getting a Jurassic Park themed B&M Flyer due to open in 2016. According to RCDB it will be a custom layout and the park president has stated that it will cost 10 billion Yen - that's roughly £52 million!

Going to be very exciting to see what Universal can do with a heavily themed Flyer. Here is a photo from early progress:

Seems like a rather steep lift hill for a flyer. Or is it just the camera angle?

Modern flyers have much steeper lifts than the early ones. Manta and Tatsu are the same.

It's likely the ride doesn't translate to 'Flying Dinosaur' in Japanese though. This seems to be the case with other coasters in that vicinity of the world (although examples escape me).

A pteranodon appears on the construction wall. A wonder if this will be themed like the scene in Jurassic World where they smash out of the aviary and cause havoc. Would be cool if an element of the ride was in an aviary.

I'm not sure that is a good idea, it could result in numerous dead birds!

Since opening in 2001, it has been popular from the guest around the world, "Jurassic Park". Actually Within the site, to eliminate human management to the limit, the area that Pteranodon of wild living was secretly exist.
"Jurassic Park" development team, to make the dream of attraction to fly with them, have been over many years research.
And finally, to discipline the Pteranodon wild, it succeeded in to fly in a stable Plot for ride
