Walibi Belgium: General Discussion

It's super simple! I did it via train from Centraal earlier this year which goes through Nord.
From memory, there was a direct train that goes straight to Bierges-Walibi that left around 9am which cut out needing to swap. I had no issue with changing trains whilst in Belgium since everything was very clearly signposted and kept up to date.
Any tickets are best purchased either at the station (which I did for my trips) through the machines or online with the SNCB app- weekend train travel is also half price!

I've heard that Walibi gets packed over Halloween, but I did find them to be super efficient with their ops. Mecaladon and Tiki Waka are rides that you take your bags on with you FYI, whilst the likes of Kondaa and Turbine had bag storage.

For tickets, I got mine from Tripper NL since they were half price, however it's only a 10€ discount for the halloween tickets- with the option of the full day or the 6pm earlier end.

Also, I’ve never been to the park before so any tips or advice in general would be much appreciated. I see that it’s the start of their Halloween event which is annoying as the Halloween events do nothing for me except make the queues longer, I’m all about the coasters!
If you get there for opening I'd recommend getting the low capacity coasters out of the way first, Tiki-Waka, Turbine, Cobra, Pulsar ect.
Loup-Garou, allow yourself as much "give" as you can get away with with the restraint, it isn't as bad as people make out.

Tiki Waka, Pulsar, and Kondaa have single riders queues as well.

If you're buying a cheap ticket from Tripper it might be worth investing in a skip the line pass if you want to do all the coasters.

Don't miss the dark rides Popcorns Revenge and Challenge of Tutankhamen.
They've got a mad house as well.

So I find myself in Brussels this weekend & I’m pretty keen on getting to Walibi Belgium on the Saturday. Has anybody taken the train from Brussels north station to the park before? I see you have to change at Ottignies. Just wondering how easy you found working out which trains to get, purchasing tickets etc?
I visited the park a couple of years ago using the train, the journey from Charleroi to Wavre was super easy, I think the place that I changed trains was Ottignies like you’ll have to do.

As suggested already you’ll want to download the SNCB app which will help you to easily plan your journey, give you times and platforms, and you can even buy your tickets in advance to save you time. The train station in Wavre is only a short distance walk from the park so it is very convenient.

Thanks for all the advice, I really appreciate it. And I saved 10€s on my ticket:). It’ll be my first solo visit too as the rest of my party have decided to spend the day in the water park! At least I get to use the single rider queues.

I went from Brussels Midi earlier this year but North will be largely the same. Your best bet is to download the SNCB app and buy your tickets through there. Enter that your departing from Brussels-North and arriving at Bierges-Walibi and all your options will appear. Select whichever one works best for you!

If it were me, I’d be taking the 8:48 and changing at Leuven to arrive at 9:41. It’s worth noting that your ticket is valid for any journey, so even if on the day you miss a connection or decide you want to take a later train, you are more than able to do that.

Edit: apologies, hadn’t realised a reply had already been posted! Hopefully I have provided some further information. :)
