What are you listening to?

Saw them at The O2 two years ago, they were incredible.

You chose one of my personal favourites of theirs too, but this one probably pips it for me...

Mr blue sky is my all time favourite.

Hallelujah- Matt and Savanna Shaw (feat. Steven Nelson)

Beautiful! :)

Got sick of people murdering that song on X Factor, with cheesy key changes & massive choirs. Nothing will ever beat the Jeff Buckley version. Even that wasn’t the original, but it’s surely the best known and greatest version ever. I’m sure even Leonard Cohen who wrote it, once said that the Jeff Buckley version was the definitive one. It’s spine tingling

You might change your mind if you listen to Matt and Savanna's version!
It's simply breathtaking. :)
Definitely the most covered song though. :p

I listened to that version of Hallelujah and it doesn't touch the Shrek version.

Anyway, here's a bit of ELO

What am I listening to? An underrated Queen classic
Queen II was their second album (obviously) and many of the songs on it are about fantasy so instead of a side a and side b there is a white side and a black side!
Highlights on this album include: White Queen (as it began), Ogre Battle and March of the Black Queen

Since watching their livestream last week, I've been listening to a lot of The Hives. I've seen a lot of gigs but they are hands down one of the strongest live acts out there. The explosive energy and tightness is insane. Here's a classic:

Freddie Mercury and Montserrat Cabballé's Barcelona. An incredible album including Opera, Soul and Gospel. Lyrics in English, Spanish and Japanese. Also partially written by Sir Tim Rice!
