What are you listening to?

Lots of Springsteen recently especially after seeing him recently and just spending a few times in New Jersey.

Johnny Cash now, love the American albums.

I was always given a hard time for playing Mr Cash...heard a lot then vanished.
Nice to see him top of the pole again.

My current repeat listening, Paul Simon's Heart and Bones, fantastically crafted album.
Apparently it was going to be the Simon and Garfunkel reunion album, but they fell out, again, and Simon wiped out every last bit of Garfunkel's contributions.

I only found this out twenty years later.

Although technically not released until 25th July, I've been listening to a Spotify playlist which duplicates most of what will be Bob Stanley's latest compilation of lost singles "Chip Shop Pop".

"Chip Shop Pop" is a collection of lost singles, from 1970-1975 which never quite made the Top 40, but could have quite easily been heard in your local chip shop at the time.

Two of my favourites are "Tip of My Tongue" by Brotherly Love and "On The Run" by Scorched Earth.

Getting thoroughly depressed watching Glastonbury while not being at Glastonbury.

Great to see Lewis Capali back though.

Got about 4 albums into Bruce Springsteen - Tracks 2 which is 7 albums worth of unreleased albums from the 80s to the 2010s.
