Yes, there is footage on YouTube. I'll post the link now under a spoiler if I canIt was a fun house walkthrough attraction, themed around the Nickelodeon TV channel of the 1990s.
You were guided through various rooms, and engaged in different tasks, often with your parents watching as onlookers. There were fun ways for the goslings to move from section to section.
At the end, you were shown a video of your experience on a video wall made up of lots of CRTs.
Time has not been kind to my memory on the specifics of the attraction. I just remember that it was absolutely my favourite attraction at Towers, that I didn't understand why it wasn't open one day when I visited, and that I kept revisiting the area hoping that one day it might come back.
I'm sure someone has uploaded archived VHS footage of the experience to YouTube, but I could not bring myself to watch it. Sometimes hazy feelings and memories are better.
Oh never mind didn't see the video aboveYes, there is footage on YouTube. I'll post the link now under a spoiler if I can
Agreed. No point wasting effort on thirty year old sheds. Send in the bulldozers and start from scratch!
I don't think they'd get the planning approval for that considering the close proximity to the Towers. Why not build up the back of the buildings have a full indoor area with play equipment and indoor rides similar to Toverland or Twinlakes
Can't see why not, there already are buildings including the one with the Hex vault.I don't think they'd get the planning approval for that considering the close proximity to the Towers.
Best overall would be to knock these down and build something new as well as a new building where Horizon was planned. Replace the previous attractions like the show and add something else and a new indoor coaster (Horizon). Not all in one season of courseIt would make more sense to knock those buildings down and put Project Horizon in that spot.

I can’t see Nickelodeon building being demolished but I can certainly see the Ice Age building getting removed, if they want to keep the age demographics at it is now then Postman Pat reappearing in it’s spot would be a good addition. Then use the Flávio’s spot for a new flat ride that supports Project Horizon. In the 33 years I been going to Alton Towers it’s only been the last 2 years that they pulled down building to be replaced with new buildings and that was replacing the arcade by the sky ride station and get rid of Ripsaw shop/cafe to build the Nemesis shop.
That building must be massive when you include the cafe area and they could easily add a new dark ride in there or a couple of flat rides. I always said Bumper cars could go in there and they got a 1 available after Chessington removed there’s.

There was a survey a few months ago about a new walkthrough being proposed and the Nick building would be a prime spot for that. Then retheme the Charlie/Dungeons building into something new. On the Walliams thread there’s discussion the area’s not that busy but if you had an anchor attraction surrounded by supporting attractions in that corner again, then Towers probably have the additional capacity to support thousands more guests within the wider park.
