The ride host approached me as I was looking at it on the lift hill today. He said ‘it’s closed today sorry’. I said ‘oh I know but im coming for fireworks, will it be open for that’? He said ‘there’s no way it will be unfortunately’ I said ‘out for the season then’? and he replied ‘afraid so’.
Gutted.

Won't be available for the Run Alton Towers event either then as that is just a week after the main season ends. I reckon they'll fix the issue during winter maintenance.

Get your bets in now for which big coaster goes down in October 2023 for the rest of the season
that’s Nemesis in 2020, The Smiler in 2021 and Wicker Man in 2022. Lovely stuff!

Falling back into Oblivion? Honestly jokes aside, that does sound like a genuinely scary concept in which just as you think you are getting out of the hole, the Lord of Darkness cries out 'Suprise!' and you end falling backwards into the hole and remain down there with no escape...Oblivion is limping on.
Nemesis is already closed for some of next season but I have a source who's close to the head office of B&M and he says they're gonna open it halfway through the retrack as a boomerang.
That is some pretty scary nightmare fuel!

Not really because no one really publicly knows how long it's going to be closed for regardless of what a ride host says. Removing it from the app only generates questions as to why it's not on there and causes guests to head to the ride anyway. If its going to be shut for the last week then wouldn't it be better for them to take it off the app rather than it saying closed each day
If they're 100% certain it's going to be closed, perhaps they should say something on the website, but removing it from the app wouldn't be all that helpful.

Lack of communication between the park and social media outlet over what's happened? Oh dear...
So they've fixed it already. If a ride host said it won't open this season they were clearly wrong as if it was definitive they wouldn't be sending it roundWickerman has been testing not opening today but it has been going around

Moral of the story here is take what ride hosts say with a pinch of salt.So they've fixed it already. If a ride host said it won't open this season they were clearly wrong as if it was definitive they wouldn't be sending it round
Yeah that’s my bad. Was just passing on what he said so people could decide to whether to visit or not, but he’s made me look a right mugMoral of the story here is take what ride hosts say with a pinch of salt.

Don't worry mate, it's possible that he was told that it was probably not opening for the rest of the season before tech services managed to fix it quicker than expected.Yeah that’s my bad. Was just passing on what he said so people could decide to whether to visit or not, but he’s made me look a right muglol
