When not only do you mention Stealth at Thorpe Park in a music video treatment and study the original Oblivion advert for an essay on advertising techniques, you also dedicate a 1,000 word essay for a TV Title treatment on theme parks and amusement parks because it's far more interesting to write about and less common than any other generic television theme you can't help hating because of commercialisation.
Yep.

When you do your English Speaking and Listening assignment role-play about TH13TEEN making up a backstory to it.

When you see an advert on Channel 4 for some Stonehenge programme, and the voice over is the same man that does TH13TEEN and Rita!

You have a dream that Oblivion has had a massive revamp with an underground dark ride before having two vertical drops and The Smiler has a really evil doctor in charge and you have to complete TESTS that will leave you a changed person while insane test subjects chase after you.

I did something similar on friday. I was driving a trip to see how ICT was used in an airport environment back from a trip to Manchester airport, during which i was talking the lecturer into the idea of looking at ICT systems and the computer and PLC systems at Alton Towers. saying that being able to see how building fail safe systems into software is beneficial to it operation would be a great idea.
And of course they would need a minibus and driver for the trip, and i would be willing to take on such a horrid task

When this genuinely invokes horrendously strong feelings of emotion in you, and you get choked up because it was 4 months since you last visited the Towers :'( (and you have it on loop in your bedroom...) Either becasue of how much I miss Towers or because of all the great memories

We had a physics lesson on energy and we had to show a chart demonstrating the flow of energy on a roller coaster. Our teacher then said it would have been better if the train completely stopped at the top to show gravitational potential energy. I immediately thought of Oblivion :twirly:

When you open a pack of LoveHearts and get to the last sweet which says 'SMILE' and you instantly think of The Smiler.
Perhaps it'd be a good marketing stunt to give everyone who rides (or leaves the park - like they've done with Fox's) a funsize packet with them all saying 'SMILE' on them. Would be great.
