I changed my SLR a few months back, bought a Nikon D7100 now, so here are a few shots. Won a photo competition with the horse and barge picture though this was taken with a Sony Cybershot.
Went to Berry Head the other day. On this site are a lot of derelict army barracks, used to protect the coast from the French many years ago. I took this seemingly "plain" picture of one of the buildings and changed it to black and white to try and emphasize the eeriness and solitude of the place.... i think i managed it though....
Was having a look back over my photos and came across a few I liked from my field trip to Tenerife back in March last year
Black beach at sunset
Cinder cones in the distance
Mt. Teide
Students at the Las Cañadas Caldera
Determined to go back one day to the peak of Teide as well as explore more of the caldera itself, an incredible landscape Not to mention with a proper camera instead of my phone!
