The park announced today that their Scarefest event is being extended by one day to Thursday 1st November. In addition, guests who book online will also get a free combined maze ticket giving them access to The Sanctuary and Carnival of Screams. Scarefest regular Terror of the Towers and the Zombies! Scarezone are not paid mazes and will also be open on the 1st November. Guests with Freedom Passes, which allow unlimited access to the paid mazes and fast track access to Terror of the Towers are also free to use their passes on the extended day.

It is thought that the extension has been announced due to many school authorities in the local area having their half term break around a week later than usual. The park are therefore expecting a higher number of visitors than usual.

However, the extension does not feature the traditional 9pm park close. With the resort’s end of season Fireworks weekend kicking off the day after, the park closes at 6:30pm with the final maze entry at 6pm to allow for Fireworks preparations to take place.
