2014: General Discussion

Would like to hope so, they did indicate there was something coming for the 21st season since they did nothing for the 20th (general clean up would go very far, bring back the blood and maybe turn the last car backwards?)

I would suggest you turn your car backwards and make a sharp exit.

If marketing read this and do it, this entire forum will be hunting you down Simpsons style with pitchforks :D

I wouldn't fight you though, you're one BRAVE dude saying that on here.

EDIT:
I reckon most of us know you're joking, but don't put it past marketing to use your post as justification.... RUN DUDE, RUN!

EDIT EDIT:
They wouldn't, would they?

You've got to admit it would be great though, and i would be willing to bet my mortgage that if they did it and it was only for a week the same people who would chase me with pitchforks would be queuing up for as many goes as they could get!

The Swarm is awful backwards, people still ride it to see what it's like though. I'd imagine an invert would be even worse.

I somewhat doubt that would happen but it's not against the realms of possibility... After all, B&M inverts have had rows turned before...

I will admit, if they did it as a LIMITED thing, not permanent, but just to try it, I would. Unlike Swarm etc, it's not about trying to make a ride something it clearly isn't - what would the beast be like backwards?

That first helix by the fence being dragged round backwards could be pretty epic lol!!

No way would I ever want this is a permanent thing, and I think it would push your tolerance levels to it's maximum, but come on even I have to admit it would be fun to try!

EDIT:

Really want to try this now.

Forgot to mention that it would decimate the best seats on the train, and additionally create hideous amounts of extra queuing due to the low throughput. The station would have to be heavily modified to accommodate for it.

And none of the decision makers would. They again, it'd be hard to work if you wreck one of the best coasters known to man

I think it'd be cool for a few rows on Nemesis to be turned around, if just for a season. I've been on the ride a lot and a bit of change is always a good thing. I'm interested to see what it'd be like.

If they wanted to do that they'd probably reverse the whole train as it would be much less problematic. I'd certainly be keen to try it.

I'd love to see (or should I say hear) the full length Nemesis track, the one with Tom Baker, playing next year, what better way to take everyone back to 1994 than playing the legend out across the valley!

Does this rumour about changes/refurbishments to Nemesis have any basis, other than it being the 21st next year?

Just outrageous speculations I think Sam. I certainly wondered what people would want to see for a crazy 21st Birthday party as it were.

Also the fact it it curiously missing from FHT posters. I am sure last year as well it was mentioned somewhere the park wanted to do something to mark the occasion.

The changes though definitely was just speculative on here, I don't think it's got any legitimate source of rumour at all
