There is a huge Burger Kitchen that does offer some Ice Cream and I think the coffee is the same as rest of the park. There is also a huge number of kiosks in Dark Forest.

I don't understand why Wobble World is closed weekends, but weekdays makes sense as the target age group is mainly in school.

:)

Yes I know there are other places that sell these things, that wasn't quite my point. We all wanted to go to one place that was indoor and warm where we could get different items of food and/or beverage. Wobble World was the optimum place for this as they do a large selection of hot drinks, ice cream tubs and scoop ice cream (well I think they still do). Yet on a weekend during Scarefest it was closed.

Talking of those huge number of kiosks in Dark Forest, the ones that serve pasties and jacket potatoes were closed on Sunday evening at just the time you might want to get a quick bite to eat towards the end of the day.

We realised at the weekend that during Scarefest this year, all of the new additions to the park since 2011 are closed after 7pm.

:)

The Blade and Enterprise just seem to be stuck on 5 minutes, and Hex on 15 since they were put on so its probably false.

Queue times weren't that accurate on Sunday. Longest wait time for me was 15 minutes for 13 whilst they bought another car onto the track.

Blade and Enerterprise show 5 minutes instead of zero because of the long wait between loads. Even if it's "walk on" you are almost certain to wait 5mins unless your timing is very good.

In that case perhaps they're deliberately applying the same logic to Hex? A 15 minute wait before you're actually sitting on the ride, even if it's walk-on?

This seems strange though, because it effectively deters people from riding a quiet attraction.

It's like at Disney, no queue time will ever show 0 minutes as you at least have a little bit of time to wait whether that be walking through the queue or waiting to load onto the next ride cycle.

:)

Yeah I think so. They only recently added Hex to the website and it stayed stuck at zero for ages, but then at exactly the same time they changed these 3 attractions to read 5, 5 and 15 on a permanent basis, so this seems to be the logic for sure.

Happy back to the future day

I wonder what sort of rides there would be on a theme park, if true hover tech like in back to the future was around.

Noticed that during my visits over the last couple of months that all of the waterfalls around Nemesis have been off which obviously doesn't look great. Alton Towers have just told someone on Twitter that they are having problems with them and it's something due to be fixed over the closed season. So at least they are planning on getting them going again! I pray that they may come back red but I doubt it.

:)

I've found the red water from nemesis
