The I Feel Happy Topic!

I got to spend a weekend surrounded by rides and lumps of ancient transport. Top weekend in my book (God I'm sad)

Fireworks with little delta on saturday. Back on sunday with st john to give extra medical cover, and then logistical support to comms officer.
 
Lol, no. However the st john comms officer for the fireworks is a very close friend of mine. And needed a extra medical bod and a logistics bod, im both. And as a non driver, he gets a lift back to oswestry.
 
I'm more happy-sad than just happy, but more happy than sad that I just had a wisdom tooth pulled a couple of hours ago.

Happy because now the toothache is gone and my other teeth can move back and stop being squished together. Plus being prescribed ice cream by a healthcare professional is always nice.

Sad because the blood tastes horrible and at some point the anaesthetic is going to wear off and it's going to suuuuck.
 
Just had an email from one of the conductors from the brass band organisation I play for, saying I've been invited to join the next band up! Excited!

I think I'm happy-ish atm, however I don't think I can call that place my true happy place anymore. The last few weeks have been weird, anyone who truly knows me will know why and why I almost gave up on my dreams, but I can't and won't let what is happening on park affect my dream, in fact it's going to drive me to push harder if not just for me but to support others that are close to me if they need it. I've done some market research and I'm hopefully going to start doing bridal fayres next year showcasing my bridal business in the Notts/Derbyshire/Stafforsdhire area so if any of the lovely TST ladies fancy being a model for ne just give me a message.
 
The surprise treasure hunt I put together for @Kelpie's birthday seemed to go down well. :) Though she got most of the clues far too quickly. I should have made them harder to find. ;)
 
Had a bit of a rough time at work recently, but things are on the up. Today was extremely productive - still can't believe how much stock we managed to get out! I've also done something today that I intended to do for quite some time. I finally joined the Labour Party. And I'm also officially a company director now (it's only a small company, but it's gradually growing in the right direction). So all in all, a really good day for me! :)
 
A while ago I was talking about my horrible first driving lesson and how I never wanted to drive again.

I'm happy to say I've given it another go with a different instructor and I really enjoyed it (although I was still so nervous throughout). Still in a manual too. :) Proud of my little self.
