Hello everyone!
I've been reading the forums for a while, so I've finally decided to join. If you have an account on TTSP, no doubt you already know me somewhat and I can't wait to get to know more people here and look forward to becoming part of another great community.

Used to occasionally lurk on here years ago and was a fairly regular poster on Thorpe Park Guide and then Southparks around 2004-2007.
Grew up near Thorpe Park and my mind was blown as a 12 year old when Colossus opened. Can remember watching an official computerised POV during the closed season on their website which took around half an hour to download on dial up (anyone remember this?!). And that's where this hobby began.
As I got a tad older theme parks were replaced with music festivals and boozy weekends away and I completely lost interest in coasters. Had the odd visit to the usual UK parks in this period but it was all very casual.
HOWEVER in the last few years the odd visit to Port Aventura, Europa Park, Florida etc with my girlfriend has slowly bought that spark back which turned into a full on raging inferno after riding Taron in December. It's left me wanting more to the point I'm currently planning a Cedar Point/SF:NE/GA trip this year to catch up on lost time!
Sorry to ramble on but I don't have any 'enthusiast' friends so it's exciting to be here with like-minded people!
