Are Alton Towers actually trying to go for the Auschwitz look with these things or what? o_O

Anybody willing to pay to stay in these need their heads checking.

I'd be staying a lot if it's the cheapest.
Mind you I'm also someone who wouldn't mind spending a night on the jubilee line....

I understand you have restricted travel requirements (taxis ect.) from previous posts.

But the Travelodge is a third of the price of these pods, bigger room with ensuite and only a very short drive away. Not to mention the local B&Bs.

I don't see how this offer would really appeal to anyone at its current price, unless they just set that as full price so they can offer a bunch of discounts later - but these pods are worth £40 a night maximum considering the lack of facilities.

I agree with you about the price.
I had a splash hotel stay for £60 the first Monday of 2018 and that was with me walking up to splash reception and booking with a card there and then.
