Lightwater Valley

Barnstormer at Adventure Island has a really long train too (Annoyingly RCDB doesn't state how many cars/passengers though).

Not sure about Barnstormer but Green Scream is 20 cars, as is Treetops at Oakwood and whatever the Zierer Tivoli at Pleasurewood Hills is called this year - it's the standard train size for large Tivoli coasters.

Tivoli's have wierd dynamics due to how long the trains are compared with the size of the ride, the front car is almost at the bottom of the first drop by the time the middle reaches the top of the lift and starts accelerating.

Going back on topic, what time does the park close in the summer hols? I'm going tomorrow. Also, am I right in thinking that Twister still isn't open?

I’m not sure if this has changed, but when I looked a few weeks ago for our trip, there were no closing times stated, only opening ones. It closed at 5pm then (Friday, with school trips)

That's what's annoying, no closing times being stated on the website. My group's coach is leaving at half 5.

Try their Q&A page ;)

Our closing time is dependent on the time of year and is always decided on the day taking into consideration how many visitors are booked in and weather conditions. During the busy school holiday dates we usually close between 5.00pm and 5.30pm. On weekend only dates in April, May, June, September and October our close time is usually 4.30pm.

Please note: Out of season events such as Fab Feb Family Fun have different opening/ closing times, please see the Events page on our website for details.

Egg-Spress

I'm sure the Egg-spress is missing a car now.

Had a great day at LWV today, and got my first evac cred on the Wild River Rapids in the process. :tearsofjoy: Staff were amazing today too! :) Only major issue was the amount of bees/wasps.

Yep wasp season is here. Only half of them can actually sting. Only the females can sting but the males can't (same goes for bees too). You can tell which are females, they are the one with a sting, which they also use for laying eggs, but the males don't have a sting sticking out from their bottom. Leave them alone and don't wave your hands about and they should leave you alone. If you are that worried about them you can get wasp appellant spray that you can spray on you (make sure that it is one that you can spray on yourself, they come in a small handy size small spray bottle).
