It’s safe now. All the old people that were going to die are dead
The ones left are locked up at home safe and protected
When was the last time you heard of and oap celebrity dying

They need to let us all go about as was

NHS has ample capacity
Birmingham nightingale hospitable is stood empty

We demand freedom !

NHS Nightingale at the NEC is empty yes, but there are still people dying in care homes. So it's not that the NHS are coping and we are out of the woods at all. These are people who probably wouldn't make the journey to hospital so are basically being left to pass away because it's the more ethical and, to put it harshly, economical option. Just because an old celebrity hasn't passed away recently from Covid-19, doesn't mean that people aren't dying. Are you living under a rock?

People will catch it.
It will kill some. That’s the nature of a killer virus.
So unless we stay locked up until the fictional mystical cure is found sometime never
Then there will be a second wave

We should all stay home. Until there is no money left in the country.
No food coming in
No nothing
And we all rot away in our beds

Maybe the massive physical damage from a reach that big might harm or kill you?

The plan is for us to stay in lockdown as the government work on tracking and tracing the virus, and setting up testing. We won't just be let out back into total normality. It has been suggested that social distancing will remain in place until a vaccine is found.

Not as ample as you would think.

Nightingale Hospital Birmingham, is at the moment in ready state.
Once restrictions are relaxed it is predicted there will be a rise in cases.
However they will stay below current capacity. If we relax now they will go above current capacity.

If the government ends lockdown too early or too quickly, then there might be a second wave, leading to another lockdown and even worse economic damage than if they'd waited.

Trying to decide when to start easing restrictions is an incredibly difficult thing to do. I don't envy the people who are responsible for making that decision.

OK Can we put a stop to this pointless anti lockdown rhetoric that seems to be being constantly repeated in this topic? Can we also have a bit of consideration for people who may actually have friends or relatives affected.

Either add to the discussion in a meaningful way, or frankly just don't bother posting. I'll just be removing future posts which are adding no value because it's getting silly now.

Regardless of how they end lockdown there will be another wave, but hopefully one under capacity.

Hoping for my vegan sausage roll fix asap but obviously only if they can find ways to practice social distancing and keep everyone safe.
