Yeesh, Wicker Man’s already at 100! And Thirteen at 80! Smiler’s queue has also already hit capacity!

Thankfully, the only thrill rides that are currently closed are Mixtape and Nemesis!

I don't think given that it's open day that the queues are that bad.
Galactica 30
Oblivion 45
Rita 45
Spinball 50
Smiler 50
Th13teen 60
Wicker man 100
Nemesis Closed
Not bad really I don't think. Shame to see nemmy shut atm but I'm sure it'll be up and running soon

Rita has gone down again now. Great that Thirteen isn't on its own as Roller Disco is there. :)
Interestingly, though, Thirteen still seems to be swallowing up most of the queues in the area, as it’s on 80 minutes while Roller Disco is only on 5 minutes...

I find that very interesting, especially given that Funk’n’Fly seems to be pulling quite a big queue over in Forbidden Valley; I wonder how Mixtape will fare once it opens?

This is exactly what I was talking about before the season began. People thought these rides would help reduce the coaster queues. Well in Th13teens case that really hasn't worked has it

The problem with Roller Disco is it's so out of the way - and the most generic of the Retro Squad, Nemesis is down so that might be helping Funk'n'Fly, I would've thought Mixtape would do quite well as its' glaringly obvious it's there whilst riding Oblivion.
But also, queues don't actually seem to be updating, so take it with a pinch of salt.

Mixtape isn’t open, is it, so we can’t really judge the success of that one yet, can we?

It's not even half way in to the first day of the season and not every ride in the park is open. A bit too early to cast such a judgement. And I don't think anyone said that they would significantly reduce the queues of the coasters, and am not sure that is the intention. But 5 minutes worth of people waiting for a ride that was not there last season means that those 5 minutes worth of people are no elsewhere in the park.

To spin it as a positive though, with Thirteen at 80 minutes and Rita seeming to have been at 45, Roller Disco only being on 5 is a positive as the length of the queues of Rita and Thirteen might be offputting to some people, so they can get an extra ride in in 5 minutes and wait considerably less for either coaster later in the day.

Erm, didn't you say just now that the queues weren't that bad for opening day?

I'm glad that with Rita and Nemesis down, people have somewhere to go and something to do in the area other than getting frustrated. This is the power of adding support attractions, not coaster queue times.

I’ve got good news and bad news from looking at the app just now.

Good news; Rita is back up and running, with a 35 minute queue.

Bad news; Galactica has now gone down, leaving Funk’n’Fly and Blade as Forbidden Valley’s only operating rides.

Thankfully, the queue times on everything else don’t seem to be too bad. As things stand, the current queue times in Thrill are:
  • Roller Disco: 5 minutes
  • Spinball Whizzer: 15 minutes (surprising, I’ll admit!)
  • Enterprise: 30 minutes
  • Rita: 35 minutes
  • The Smiler: 50 minutes
  • Oblivion: 60 minutes
  • Thirteen: 80 minutes
  • Wicker Man: 95 minutes
Taking into account that this is with 2/3 of the Retro Squad down, as well as two of the park’s main workhorses in Nemesis and Galactica, that isn’t bad at all, if you ask me!

Mixtape is finally back open! :)
And it’s walk on, so I’d get over there and ride it if you’re on park and a flat ride fan!

I feel like it could soon rack up a queue, though, as Oblivion is on 30 minutes, Enterprise is on 30 minutes, and Smiler’s queue is at capacity, so that provides a big pool of potential riders!

I know it seems odd for me to be rooting for a ride to build up a queue, but I really hope that The Retro Squad proves successful for the park so that some permanent flat rides hopefully make their way to the park within the next few years!

Seems Mixtape is paying off as well - it's got a 50 minute wait! So it's literally just Roller Disco that has stayed low of the Retrosquad, unless its waiting time is inaccurate.

Roller Disco is now on 20 minutes, so not that low! Funk’n’Fly was walk-on a moment ago, but is now up to 30!

Interestingly, Mixtape has a longer queue than Oblivion (10 minutes), and the same queue length as Smiler and Enterprise!

One thing I’ll admit that has surprised me today is how low Spinball’s queue has been; it doesn’t seem to have gotten above about 15 minutes, and has stayed consistently pretty low all day!
EDIT: Well, they changed rapidly! According to the app, Oblivion has now shot up to 45, and Galactica is now back open and on 30, leaving Nemesis as the only ride shut!

Hopefully this is gonna make them see flats are necessary!
The Blade - 15 minutes (probably higher)
Enterprise - 50 minutes
Mixtape 50 minutes
Roller Disco 20 minutes
Funk 'n' Fly has been 35 minutes;
clearly they are attracting guests!
