oh that's a shame I thought they might actually being doing work to it. I've felt its needed some work for a while.Extraordinary Golf regularly has nine holes closed off peak "for maintenance".
I have never seen much improvement when it has reopened.

I would love to see them add Cbeebies, Smiler and Wicker Man themed holes.

I'm always concerned when Towers manage to scrape together a few pence from the back of the sofa to attempt to rectify the rot. I have these images in my head of the Hex tree theming returning as a collection of toilet roll tubes painted brown and stuck together with sticky tape.

I did Extraordinary Golf a couple of weeks ago, and the first 9 holes were closed for maintenace. They were doing maintenance, there was scaffolding around the windmill structure and a couple of workers. They really need to give the course a complete overhaul now though.

Yikes...
I'm booked in for the 25th, does that mean it's going to be packed?!
This is still saying 64% thankfully

Standard - October is the busiest time of year for parks across Europe - Europa-Park is the same and is full over 3 days the next week.
The park (AT) are limiting capacity lower than historically currently, so you won't find everything on 2 hours - but it will nonetheless be busy.
RAP will be hell.

@imanautie do you know if that site pulls from some sort of API or is the % crowd based on historical data ?This is still saying 64% thankfully

Its possible, leme ask the developer, it's possible to pull ticket numbers (not useful for passes now prebooks aren't cared about) so they could be using that but I personally doubt it as it's not the easiest API to work with outside the official booking flow. (Unless they have access to the API accesso offer venues)@imanautie do you know if that site pulls from some sort of API or is the % crowd based on historical data ?

I just had a weird ride on Duel, I spotted that it had a long queue so I decided to go on to investigate. I quickly noticed that the queue was moving in batches so I was convinced that they were doing some kind of Duel Live but when I got to the station...there was huge gaps between ride cars and they where alternating between batches of empty cars, and batches of full cars, all with huge gaps in between batches...it was weird.
Does anyone know what they were doing?

There’s been a shed load of cars off the circuit for months now (hence the massive gaps) and presumably guns aren’t working or there are issues with others still on the circuit too, so they won’t be filling them either. All a bit of a mess at the moment, very much limping home to the end of season!

Yeah I'm going on Monday and am getting worried. It's my second favourite ride (and favourite non-coaster attraction) at Towers. Will be absolutely gutted if it's closed.Yeah that's rubbish. If it's not open for my next visit there will be Words!
I absolutely love Hex and it’s the best dark ride in the U.K. for me. The level of detail in the theming, the smells and the music make the hairs on the back of my neck stand on end.Yeah I'm going on Monday and am getting worried. It’s a such a stark contrast to the new flat screen TV exhibition dark ride that’s around the corner.

Yeah it's mine too. A day at Towers just wouldn't feel the same without a ride on Hex.I absolutely love Hex and it’s the best dark ride in the U.K. for me.

We love hex too yet noticed last week that the speakers in the vault still not been fixed...still much quieter than it once was

Hex hasn't opened yet, got a bad feeling it could be closed all day again.

Fingers crossed it opens though!
Edit: Duel's now gone down too. That's two out of three dark rides closed.

I have tickets for this weekend but I’m actually thinking of not bothering to go up - never thought I’d say that! But with the amount of ride closures and the potential queues this will cause on what will be a very busy weekend, I’m not sure I want to travel all the way up and spend any more money on what might be a very frustrating day!
