Quick Questions

He does, but his only comment he ever made was on Duels thread, this was about 2 months ago now, so I doubt you'll see him on here for a good year now.

I still think it's brilliant that one of Britain's best Leisure designers just casually posted on a small Forum community, really does show how much he loves his creations and the people that ride them.
Better look for the post now :tearsofjoy:

I know the answer to this is probably readily available elsewhere so apologies in advance.

What’s the reason for Oblivion and Hex currently being closed?

It's probably been asked a thousand times and a bit of a silly question but after ride close could you in theory go for a stroll through the gardens at the end of the day or would that cause any problems with security.

I’m sure it’s fine because at ride close, there’ll still be queues for some rides meaning you could easily spend 45 minutes taking in the gardens. Even after this there’s never anyone stood blocking off paths. I remember last year after an evening meal at RCR my wife and I had a stroll through the gardens at 830pm - all the gates were open and no one was around to tell us otherwise.

Sorry. Quick question. When would be a good time to arrive? If we get to the car park for 9am would that be good to get closeish to the front of the entry queues? We only have regular tickets.

I'd say that would be more than early enough myself.

Yes as Matt said, that sounds like the ideal time to arrive. If you walk to the entrance you’ll be there by 0930 absolute latest. Head straight to The Smiler and you’ll be one of the first riders usually, then go to The Dark Forest where queues will still be minimal. That’s my route for the first hour of the day and you’ll often get 4 coasters done by 11am.

Or go straight to Wicker Man and wait for it to open to beat the queue then head up to Smiler and go through the Single Rider Queue (you’ll be on it in minutes so long as you don’t mind sitting on your own at the end of a row), then do Dark Forest and then over to Forbidden Valley.

Does anyone know what checks are done on your Blue Badge when you apply for a Ride Access Pass? I've finally got my Blue Badge but for some reason am worried about sending my BB number to them (i know it sounds irrational but i am). My badge due to Exceptional Circumstance was not required to have a photo either.
