I won't be bothering this year; two years on the trot of not visiting. I was originally entertaining the fact I'd get free admission with the EPAP, but the place really doesn't justify the effort this year. A fleeting glance as I park opposite by the Travelodge in September for an annual spot of sunset photography from the beach, perhaps.

Decided to brave a trip to Blackpool on Friday so will let you all know my experience.

Been a while since I’ve been so I’ve forgotten where’s best to park. Anyone got any suggestions? :)

Visiting tomorrow with family so be interesting to see how they all enjoy the day.

Looking forward to visiting a UK park for the first time after my trip to America.

I usually park on Lytham Road

I generally tend to stick it somewhere in the highlighted areas: 1658787322421.png

Failing that and it's mega busy, the roads on the opposite side of the tracks from the train station by the Big Blue, or just turn around and go straight back home.

Just to the south of spoons, at its back corner, there are two parking spaces diagonally on to the pavement at the corner, where there are bollards to "protect" the small park area between the spoons and the Beach.
Free parking, for two cars, unlimited time, guaranteed no parking tickets, all day every day.
They are my parking places!
However, you may happily borrow one from me.
If they have both been used, either just behind the prom to the south of the Beach, or on or just off Lytham rd, to the East of the Beach, are five minutes walk and free all day.
Check your road parking is not residents only!

Seems valhalla may make an appearance in October... someone has posted that they have done the voice over for the revamped ride and all being well we should hear that voice in October!! Our current August trip will likely be scrapped due to the high fee to get in and the fact Valhalla isn't open yet.... Still...

Windermere Rd always for us. 5 minute brisk walk to the park or more like 10 minutes if you prefer a stroll and it's free to park there all day. It's an incredibly wide street too so your car is safe from scratches and bumps if you worry about such things.

Sounds like not opening until next year then.
If they are planning on only getting it open in three months time, there will be more cock ups to stall opening another month, then crunch...2023 it is.

Really useful info everyone thank you. Can we put three of us including little one on the same e-ticket on the app, to show at the rides?
Remember, they strip search you for picnics, and the gulls have flick knives.
You can take water, sweeties and crisps in, but nothing else.

Does this include cavity searches? I wanted to eat a few sausage rolls on park...only Greggs will do.

Pleasure beach have just tweeted about late night riding on Saturday. No mention of the hour early close.

They have also started tweeting with replies blocked on some tweets !!

Yup.
There is a single official picnic bench next to the adventure golf by the entrance, but the best place for a picnic has to be the concrete steps going down to the beach, but with the sea wall close behind you, or you will lose your butties to the gulls.
Nice picnic spot with loos just inland by the giant glitter ball, the Solarium Centre.

Well we went, and a great time was had by all! Quite busy and a few long queues, Wallace and Gromit being the longest! Sat having our picnic outside, noticed the Big One only seemed to be going every ten or fifteen minutes, no idea what they were doing with that. Daughter even managed the Avalanche and Big Dipper. However it's been ten years since I was last at the pleasure beach, I know the woodies have always been shaky, it's part of the fun, but that's got really brutal. Don't know whether it's age catching up with me or whether it really has got that much worse! Thanks for the encouragement to go though, or was a really fun day.

Lovely afternoon today, though there did seem an awful lot of closed rides for peak season...
Streak, kids log flume and Skyforce closed all day.
Big One only on one with a big queue.
Likewise the National.
Absolutely nobody watching the slimefest, ironic cheers from the National queue for the "Finale"...staff outnumbered punters by 4 to 1.
Valhalla security gate on the left hand side was left open, but the inner doors were all closed and locked sadly.
You have to peep though...
