Starting on Friday 7th October it will be time to face your deepest, darkest fears within the walls of our closed amusement park.
Experience the 8 different scare zones at your peril, including;
'The Hell Tunnels', 'Impossible - Freak House', 'Sirens of Infusion',
'Rising Ghost Train' and 'The Lost' located in a long forgotten space . . . ready for you to invade!

Journey to Hell ... Anyone going for it ?

What's the long forgotten space ? Efficient operations and solid ride availability ?

I'm so sassy after strong European lager. My bet would be on the Planetarium/Black Hole building, but that doesn't feel particularly 'long forgotten' ?

Previous events have used the River Caves, Wallace, Magnolia Cafe routes. They’ve also used Planet Rock. Either or both are likely to be used again.

Have to say I haven’t rated previous years: poor quality acting, lots of gaps with nothing happening and particularly disjointed. It’s also pretty pricey.

I know its the wrong end of the park but surely all the Space Invader building isn't used up by the Pizza place? Invade just sounds like an odd choice of words to not be a clue (along with the word space too).

EDIT: Reading a review of last year (https://www.scaredirectory.co.uk/journey-to-hell-freak-nights-blackpool-pleasure-beach-review/ SPOILERS) it appears the route did indeed pass Space Invader so this would now 100% be my assumption.

Not a bad offer at all from Pleasure Beach actually. Certainly for those of us that are a little more “mature” looking…

Prejudice against the non breeders.
Hang your head in shame Mandy.
Once a ..... - to be fair though it does seem like BPB have finally, at the end of the season, listened to the valid criticism of their pricing structures and are looking for innovative solutions to get people on park

Just had a quick look at opening times for next year. Looks like they have been chopped again from what they originally published.

5pm closes on all days right up until July. (except 2 late night riding 9pm days and 6pm on Good Friday and Easter Sunday/Monday)

So most of the Easter holidays, May half term and weekends are all 5pm closes. And I am guessing Nickelodeon land will shut at 4pm

6pm on weekends from July, and generally 7pm from the end of July. With 3 more late night riding events before the end of the summer.

Wow. It feels like we lose an hour off opening times every couple of years at the moment. It wasn’t that long ago you could visit on a Friday after work and catch an 8pm closing pretty regularly.

Not a good sign.

I've not visited since the before-times but from what I've seen they had a pretty successful 2020 in terms of guest numbers (presumably mainly because people couldn't get £20 flights to Spain). The only trouble was they did themselves no favours at the time with reports of multiple-hour waits for the likes of Icon, PMBO and even Nash. that's before you even begin to delve into all the chronically undercapacity family rides.

I can't imagine many of the non-regulars who gave the park a try that year will have returned in a hurry.

Does anyone know, if you buy a new 2023 Season pass (not a renewal) does that include the remainder of the 2022 season? Also noticed its been increased to £145 :(
