Oakwood Discussion

Lets hope there is still time for a buyer of the park! But sadly don't think it's going to happen, Megafobia will be next to be dismantled imo

Oakwood was the only semi-major theme park in Wales (and probably the only semi-major theme park in the western UK south of Birmingham, for that matter), so there was no competition particularly nearby. And with the park’s demise, Aspro has no other attractions in the UK, to my knowledge (or no other theme parks, anyway), so unless the ability to strip the park of rides so as to fill their other parks was really that compelling, I can’t see why Aspro is so keen to cling onto Oakwood.

It has some aquariums like Hastings and smugglers adventures in Hastings along with the castle.. smugglers which when new was a brilliant attraction was technically brilliant is dated and is just a cash cow.

All wood can be recycled.
My own favourite was the Texas Tornado from Morecambe, all the way round the coast from Paris, reshaped and refigured to fit the new site.

Can’t give the price of the quote but it was from gravity group and it was in the high millions the post on Reddit says that mega demolishing has started that’s not true not saying it won’t happen though.
